Leo Gordon Laporte (born November 29, 1956 in Manhattan, New York City) is an American technology broadcaster, journalist, author and founder of TWiT. Laporte currently resides in Petaluma, California, USA.

Personal Life
Laporte is a native of Providence, Rhode Island but now lives in California with his wife Jennifer and two children, Henry and Abby.
TWiT
As founder Laporte hosts or co-hosts most of the shows on the TWiT network. Sometimes he goes by the nickname Chief TWiT.
