- Discuss how pitot tube fault could lead to exceeding this speed.

- Discuss how this might take the vertical fin off the airplane.
- Vb maximum gust intensity…Maximum structural cruising speed.
- Takeoff V speeds.
- Pilot Not Flying voice calls during takeoff.
- V1…Committed to fly…If one engine quits you will continue. Before this you can stop in the length of the runway left.
- Vr…Rotate…Lift the nose 10 to 11 degrees.
- V2…TO safety speed…you can reach 35 ft. by the end of the runway.
- No talking while below 10,000 ft.
- Certification bottle necks.
- Fedex Trucks use digital communications. Aircraft use voice.
- Do we need to do a risk assessment study to determine which has the most risk…flying with old technology…or simplifying the certification system.
