  2. Gamma LUT for each color…Printers and editing profiles don’t have these. Don’t select Adobe 98 as a monitor profile.

    1. There is no unique combination of CMYK that makes a certain color. In RGB there is only one combination that defines a color.
    2. Use SWOP coated for publishing to magazines
    3. Use Sheetfed coated for commercial printing.
    4. For very high quality coffee table books find a color separator.
  5. Rendering intent
    1. Absolute Colormetric…for proofing
    2. Relative Colormetric…for most inkjet printing
      1. Blackpoint compensation.
    3. Saturation…for graphs and charts…not for photography.
    4. Perceptual…Maps the color proportionally from one color space to the other.
      1. Is proprietary and varies from vendor to vendor.
