TWiT.am Audio Stream

Overview

The TWiT.am audio stream was started as a fan project in September, 2008 and shortly after was made official and hosted by TWiT.

A higher quality AAC stream was added on August 9, 2012.

Equipment

A Barix Instreamer 100 streams TWiT's audio to an Icecast server for a 58 kbps mono MP3 stream. The Barix receives the Omni-processed program audio via RCA jacks from a Livewire match jack.

A Telos ProStream streams TWiT's audio to a Shoutcast server for a 64 kbps stereo AAC stream. The ProStream receives the Omnia-processed program audio directly from the Axia Element via Livewire.
