"thanks for mentioning SceneTap! I wanted to clarify a few points, though. SceneTap actually doesn't live stream from bars.
When SceneTap launches in July, it will be available for iPhone, Android and the Web - Users will receive real-time updates on the crowd at their favorite bar (male/female ratio, average age, number of people), and they can access specials and engage in the app's social layer. This data is collected from cameras, which use facial detection technology to automatically update the app's data - it is a closed feed, however, and users don't have access.
This story might clear it up a bit: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/coming_to_a_bar_near_you_facial_recognition_real-t.php
If you're interested in having Cole Harper, SceneTap's founder and CEO, on the show, he'd love to join you.
Thanks! Andrew Cross"
