Ray Maxwell was the co-host of Maxwell's House on the TWiT network. Maxwell currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is an Electronics Engineer, Color Scientist, Teacher, Speaker & Raconteur.
Ray has spent most of his 40 year career as an Electronics Engineer working in the areas of H.F. communication, remote sensing, satellite ground stations, graphic arts proofing, color science, computerized flight dispatch and many other areas. In the last decade he has specialized in the area of colour science, digital photography and offset printing, half-tone and inkjet proofing. He also does real-time support during digital shoots for commercial photographers in the Vancouver area. In addition he was a Beta tester for Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Ray has been a guest speaker at many professional photography and printing organizations and schools. Ray has also piloted both gliders and power planes in the movies and television commercials. He flew a glider in a automobile commercial that aired at the halftime of the Super Bowl.
Ray is an Electronics Engineer, but for the past 7 years has worked in Colour Science for Creo with colour scientists at Kodak, colour scientists at Imation, Dupont, Fuji. His company built special laser imaging engines for very high quality proofing.
