GizWizSearchBot

Nice Work. Is it possible to automatically remove the "Unrealeased" entries from the Daily Giz Wiz Show Notes while the bot updates the page? Ve2dmn 12:10, 15 January 2009 (PST)

It is possible, but I'd have to parse the table and make the code much more complicated. I'll probably do this, when I'll have a little more time. Maybe this weekend. Ludwik 12:21, 15 January 2009 (PST)
Thanks. In the mean time, I'll just do everything manually. It's not critical, just nice to have. Ve2dmn 12:25, 15 January 2009 (PST)
It should work now (please let me know if it doesn't) Ludwik 06:07, 18 January 2009 (PST)
Works Great. Will it break functionality if we split the Show Notes list in 50 episodes parts? The page is getting pretty long. Ve2dmn 17:10, 21 January 2009 (PST)
Don't do this alone - the bot would load the full list on the first page again. Do they do this on Wikipedia? Do you have some examples how it should look like? Ludwik 02:27, 22 January 2009 (PST)
That is why I asked first. I didn't want all the work destroy by an automated script. For Wikipedia guidelines on long pages, see : Wikipedia:Article_size and Wikipedia:Splitting. I will continue this discussion on the Show notes talk page. Ve2dmn 04:30, 22 January 2009 (PST)
