  • Productivity
    • Evernote for research and passwords. Also allows GPS tagging. Works across platforms. The App is free. The premium account has a few more features. It is possible to tag photos.
    • InstapaperInstapaper allows you to read webpages later. They are saved to Instapaper. It works with a book mark-let in Safari which can be installed on the Ipad. The full version is $4.99. An alternative is Readitlater
    • Elements is a text editor that saves files directly to Dropbox. Watch as you type on your Ipad and it appears on your PC. Amazing. It has a spell checker and fonts colour can be changed to suit. It is $4.99.
    • iAnnotate is both an elegant PDF reader and a powerful annotation tool that finally lets you work with your PDFs. You can open documents from email, sign and send out contracts, enter notes for edits, sketch diagrams, copy text, and add highlights or underline with the drag of a finger! It is $9.99

    • MG Siegler from techCrunch talks about Facebook Places (as at 23rd August 2010 not available outside US)
